Chicago Cultural Center Public Tour

 

The Chicago Cultural Center is open every day from 10 am to 5 pm.

Public Tours in person are available on Thursdays and Fridays at 1:15

  • 45-60 minutes long.

  • Led by DCASE staff or trained and passionate volunteer docents.
  • Sign in at the Randolph Street Info Desk by 1:10 pm. Limited capacity, offered on a first come first served basis. 

  • If your group is 10 people or larger please consider requesting a private tour a self-guided tour or video tour

  • Check out the current Chicago Cultural Center exhibitions.

  • On-Site Tour Accessibility
    • Tours are active engagements requiring movement throughout the building

    • Ramps and elevators provide full access throughout the building

    • Wheelchair loans are available on a first come, first served basis.

    • Requests for accomodations can be made in your application notes or by reaching out directly via VolunTours@cityofchicago (dot) org

    • Touch tour experiences can be created for blind or low vision guests on request and are also offered specifically periodically.  Reach out to VolunTours@cityofchicago.org for more info.

    • Tours are available in English, Spanish and ASL. Language requests are made via the tour request application. Two weeks advance notice required for ASL or Spanish tours.
